oopsies

So the reason I am 2 days ahead of my friend caity is because I guess we don't do weekends, so I will start again on monday and be on track with her :) Tomorrow I am going to see my friend from track who lives in Canada and spend the night with her since Zach is gone camping with his brothers and dad. Should be a really fun day! Will post pictures of our adventures later!

days up till now

Alrighty, didn't post each day but here are all the pics of the days since day two!
day 3: spent the night at Caity's house and Mikey joined us because he was sick, but he went home at 1 in the morning because he was too loud.

I started taking pictures of the outfit not on me because I got a little lazy the past few days...
day 6:
2nd and final day of the yard sale at Caity's. I made like 14 dollars or something haha at least it paid for my movie ticket that night. We saw Inception, it was great!

spent the night at caity's again :) we watched Walle and looked at stupid tattoos for an hour. I also went to Zach's for dinner and we made the best chocolate chip cookies EVER! And somehow I am 2 days ahead of Caity.... oops I don't know what happened.

day two


So for today's outfit I picked white shorts, and a gray tank top that is pretty wrinkly but I didn't have the time to iron it and some black sandals.


The little accessory on my right arm is for my latest injury, a huge burn! haha so I laid my arm on a curling iron by accident on Saturday and I have got a lovely burn there now. I will have to post a picture tomorrow although be warned! it is icky looking.

This time I mean it

So apparently posting more regularly meant don't post for two weeks haha. Well Zach had his birthday on the 13th and he and I celebrated on the Saturday before . We did a lot of fun stuff! First I made him breakfast which included homemade pecan cinnamon muffins then went to Traxx in Mukilteo to race go karts, then went to Flower World and ate out lunch and saw the animals, then we went rock climbing which turned out to be soooo fun! We loved it, it was really tiring though! Afterwards we made bruschetta , lasagna, caesar salad, and a pie for dinner and dessert. So yummy! Overall a really great bday!

Other than that not too many eventful things. I am doing a challenge with my best friend Caity, that challenges you to only wear 30 articles of clothing for 30 days so you have to mix and match things . However, I think this challenge will be more a challenge to actually wear 30 different things in 30 days for me haha. So here is day 1, gray sweater and black tank top with jeans and my white vans you can't see.

Lately

Sooo I really need to do this more than once a week!! let's see if this week is any better starting tomorrow haha. This week I baked a few different things, the first was some banana muffins at work with the girl I nanny for , Hayley. They turned out pretty good! The recipe again is from all recipes.com



The second thing I baked well actually more like made was this oreo ice cream cake for the 4th of July party at Zach's and I must say that I am pretty proud! Again from my favorite place to get recipes but I changed a few things, I bought cookies and cream ice cream sandwiches instead of regular, substituted one layer of ice cream sandwiches for ice cream and decorated the outside with oreos. The cool whip frosting really made it so the ice cream and other layers really stood out. Everyone loved it! huge hit and will definitely be making it again.




On another note I saw this family biking and snapped a shot while I drove by because I had never seen a 3 person bike before!

My dad and I have also begun our triathlon training! we are going to be doing 1 in August and hopefully 1 in September before I go back to school. Thus far biking is great but kills my butt! I don't know how people do that for tens of miles
, but I just have to work up to 15 miles. We are doing the sprint distance so it will be a 400 m swim, 15 mile bike, and a 3 mile run. Should be interesting!

Last thing I just remembered was on Saturday we celebrated my brother's birthday and saw Knight and Day. I thought it was a good movie , not great, but it was enjoyable. Later we went to Jet City Improv and he had to get on stage ! So worth it and fun family time.
